INDIA GOVERNMENT MINT, Mumbai is the oldest mint .Assay Laboratory of India Government Mint is accredited by NABL as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for Assaying of Gold and Silver up to 999.9 PPT and also accredited in testing Copper Alloys. It has been nominated by BIS as Referral Laboratory for assaying.
The PROFICIENCY TESTING PROVIDER DIVISION OF Assay Department of IGMM has been accredited by NABL as per the requirements of ISO/IEC 17043:2010 and ISO 13528:2015 in conducting PT rounds in Gold and Silver Testing
The PTPD of IGMM is organizing “PROFICIENCY TESTING PROGRAM” in the Scope of Gold Testing.
The very purpose of organizing this PT programme for the benefit of Jewellers, refiners, Hallmarking Centres and laboratories indulged in Precious metals testing is to assure the quality of their testing and also increase credibility of the participating laboratories among the customers.
Thus, the PTPD (Proficiency Testing Provider division) at India Government, Mint humbly invites interested laboratories to participate in this PT programme
